Who loves a great cup of tea? I do and hopefully, you will too after reading about the benefits. I consume a lot of anti-cancer herbal teas to help decrease my risk of cancer recurrence. I am always searching for means to keep this body healthy. After a cancer diagnosis, you need to constantly be in survival mode.
There are a lot of great benefits to drinking herbal teas to include immune-boosting properties. Did you know that if you add lemon to your tea, it increases absorbability? Here are just a few of my favorite teas.
Dandelion Root Tea
As a little girl, I remember playing outside and finding the dandelion flower and blowing the puffballs. What we once thought was a pesky weed is actually a potent anti-cancer plant.
Matcha Green Tea
This tea is an amazing green tea. It contains very potent anti-cancer phytonutrients. Phytonutrients are a wide variety of compounds produced by plants.
Red Tea (African Rooibos)
This tea is another highly potent tea. It is harvested in the Western Cape province of South Africa. This tea contains copper, potassium, iron, zinc, magnesium, and other powerful antioxidants.
Tulsi Teas (Indian Holy Basil)
This herbal, anti-cancer tea is naturally caffeine-free. It is also a powerful antioxidant. Tulsi Teas helps reduce the effects of stress on your body. I don’t think you can go wrong with this tea. We all need a stress buster.
